Howard "Buster" Bradshaw Jr.

GALESTOWN — Howard J. "Buster" Bradshaw Jr. passed away on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, in Galestown. He was 47. He was born on Jan. 24, 1965, in Cambridge, the son of Howard Bradshaw Sr. and Mary Ann Nossick Bradshaw, both of Galestown.

He graduated from North Dorchester High School with the Class of 1983, completing the Vo-tech Welding Program. While in high school he began his welding career with Walt Breeding welding stock car frames. A very talented welder and fabricator he was self-employed for many years, and in the last few years was a subcontractor for several local companies. Buster was a wonderful father and true friend to many. He always had time to help others and will be remembered for his jokes, laughter and sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sherry Kratochvil Bradshaw of Hurlock; a daughter, Brianna Bradshaw, and a son, Daniel Bradshaw, both of Hurlock; one sister, Barbara Dayton, and her husband, Jeff, of Cambridge; and three nieces, Jodi Garvin, Allison Gumpman and Chelsea Dayton.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home PA in Federalsburg. Burial will be private and at the Galestown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802.

I'm gonna miss him terribly and want to send my deepest condolences to sherry, his children, mom and dad and the rest of his family. When I think of Buster(that's who he'll always be to me) all I see is that smile and laugh.Buster was a very good friend and I'm glad I had the opportunity to go to school with him and to know him through our adult life! I will miss him forever!

Had not seen Buster for a long time, but I still have my memories from NDHS of a tall lanky frame walking the hall, always seeming to have a grin on his face. Gone too soon my friend, but now free from the cares and pains of this world. So until we meet again, may God be with you and your family.
