Joshua T. Fridley, Jr.

Salisbury—Joshua Thomas Fridley, Jr., 15, of here, departed this life on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Joshua T. Fridley, Sr. of Baltimore, MD and Ann Marie (Terrence) Purnell of Salisbury.

He attended Parkside High School. Joshua loved to wrestle, play football and ride his dirt bike.

In addition to his parents and stepfather, loving memories will be cherished by: one sister, Ashley Nicole Springer of Ocean Pines, MD; maternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Wingate of Ocean Pines, MD; paternal grandparents, Paul and Patrice Williams of Baltimore, MD, Charles and Marchelle Smith of Salisbury, and Dale Sadler of Baltimore, MD; one great-grandmother, Virginia Wingate of Ocean Pines, MD; one uncle, Jason (Jennifer) Williams of White Marsh, MD; three aunts, Dawn (Jeffrey) Wheeler of Baltimore, MD, Kristy Wingate of Union Bridge, MD and Terrika Ayres of Salisbury; one nephew, Robert Franklin; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Fridley will lie in repose on this evening from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday from 10 to 11 AM at First Baptist Church located on the corner of 528 Booth Street & Delaware Avenue in Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Interment will be in Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc. located on West Road in Salisbury. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by Lewis N. My sweet baby boy no words can express the emptiness n heartache your leaving has brought me.Having said that no matter what craziness we've been through every memory of you makes my heart smile.In 15 years you became as much a man as one who lived to 95. You're ambition,caring ways,generosity and compassion are a reflection of your faithfulness to God.Your humor cured many sad moments and saved you from several butt whippins lol.You amazed me with your insight and understsnding.There was nothing you couldn't fix or figure out when you set your mind to it.You were wise far beyond your years.You will always be remembered for the amazing inspiration that you are.As I reflect on who you are I also consider what a fabulous man you would have matured to be...a great husband and father and a Christ-like leader to many.You are and will forever be missed.Until I see you a again my sweet angel sweet dreams

I thank everybody for your prayers. It makes me so happy to know that my little brother was loved so much outside of our family. Words can never explain how much I miss my brother and everyday I wish for him back. People tell me they understand but they really don't unless they have lost a sibling. Josh was truely my bestfriend, he wasn't just my brother. Without him here I feel lonely. When we burried him, I gave my brother a piece of my heart to take to heaven with him. I know he will always be with me but it ill never be the same :(
I LOVE you so much Josh!! I can't wait to see you again and I hope you ALWAYS stay with me, just know i'll NEVER forget you, PROMISE!
P.S. I know you play with your nephew, You were an amazing uncle!
