Kathryn Cox Obituary

Kathryn "Kay" Bee Cox of Federalsburg passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge. She was 69 years old.
She was born May 5, 1941, in Easton, a daughter of the late Garcia H. and Dorothy Bradley Bee.
She was a graduate of Federalsburg High School, Class of 1959, and later attended Chesapeake College.
She is survived by a son, Rodney Ray Cox and his wife, Danielle, and a daughter, Kelly Marie Cox Dayton, both of Hurlock; three grandchildren, Mitchell Ray Dayton, Rachael Eileen Cox and Tyler Ray Cox; a sister, Gail B. Christopher and her husband, Jimmy, and a brother, Gary E. Bee Sr. and his wife, Emily, both of Federalsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Cox, who died May 7, 2005, and a granddaughter, Marci Bee Dayton, who died May 8, 2005.
A funeral service for her will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home PA in Federalsburg, with the Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in East New Market Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The family has requested that donations be made in her memory to Marci Bee Dayton Memorial Fund, c/o Midshore Community Foundation, 102 E. Dover St., Easton, Md. 21601

Kelly & Mitchell and Family
I'm sorry to hear about Kay, she was a Great person that I got to know when Marci was fighting her battle, we shared many tears and alot of laughs. I'm sorry that I haven't taken the time to see her. Another "Angel" got her wings and now she is with Marci and Kenny. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sorry I couldn't be there today.
