Ila "Jeannine" Reid

Fruitland-Ila "Jeannine" Reid

79, of Fruitland and formerly Princess Anne, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. She was the daughter of the late Margaret Uhles and Cecil Plymale.

Jeannine was born in Columbus, Georgia on March 21, 1936. She worked at many jobs over the years, retiring from the Somerset County School System.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Louis "Peanut" Reid. She is survived by her daughters Joy Reid, Rachel Bozman and Vicki Adkins and sister Linda Lisenby (James), grandchildren Shawn Burke, John Wilkins (Chris), Amy Bozman, Daniel Sigrist, Olivia Sigrist, Elizabeth Adkins, John Adkins, and Jessica Willey.

Jeannine was also preceded in death by her brothers Gerald and Royce Plymale and two sons-in-law, Ray Bozman and Jeff Adkins.

As per her wishes, there will be no service, and she has donated her body to the Maryland State Anatomy Board. Please remember her as the loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.

Jeannine and Peanut walked many years at the mall, where they met many friends.
