Sandra Frazier

Golden Quarter- Born in Salisbury on July 31, 1939 Sandra died at her home, Golden Quarter, in Berlin MD, on August 5, 2015. Sandra is the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Kennerly Polk and Norris Wade Polk. The first in her family to graduate from college, she met and married Randall Frazier while attending the University of Maryland. They were married for 26 years until his death in 1996.

Sandra is survived by her longtime companion, Jack Pinion, daughter Justine Frazier, son, Adam Frazier, his wife, Dr. Evelyn Frazier, and two grandchildren, Liam and James, sisters, Patricia Polk Simpson, and Noreen Polk Kilby, nieces Grace Simpson, Sarah and Emma Kilby and cousins, Wade Polk, Tanya Ehrishman, and Mary Vogeler.

Because of her Mother's mental illness she had a lifelong interest in psychology and worked as a psychologist, counselor, therapist, and probation officer.

A believer in the therapeutic benefits of art and nature, she was a painter as well as a collector of art. Her home, Golden Quarter, is one of her proudest accomplishments. The 150 acres are preserved in perpetuity for wild life, plant life, and future generations.

The family wishes to express our appreciation of the many attentive acts of love, and kindness demonstrated during Sandra's journey over the last two years.
