Rebecca Briggs Obituary

REBECCA JO BRIGGS Rebecca Jo "Becky" Briggs, 68, of Jefferson, Georgia, and formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, and Delphos, passed away on the morning of March 5, 2025. She was born Dec. 25, 1956, in Lima to Roger James and Jo Anne (Welch) Briggs. Her father preceded her in death on April 19, 1998. Her mother survives in Delphos. On Nov. 23, 1985, she became the beloved wife of Bob Greenwald, who survives in Jefferson, Georgia. Survivors also include a son, Robert (Erica) Greenwald of Georgia; and a daughter, Jennifer Greenwald of Florida; three grandchildren, Bobby (Emily Coffey) Jones, Margaret "Greta" (Cole Birkbeck) Greenwald and Kate Lynn Greenwald, all of Georgia; one great-grandchild on the way; a brother, Steve (Sandra "Sam") Briggs of Delphos; a sister, Nancy (Jay) Spencer of Delphos; two nephews and a niece; and numerous cousins. Becky was happily retired and enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and throughout Europe, genealogy, reading, crafting, and spending time with her family. She was a 1975 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 1977 graduate of Northwestern College of Business (UNOH). A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Our very most sincere condolences on the passing of Becky. We only knew her through the travel photos with her beloved Bob and the family holiday celebration photos nonetheless her spirit touched us. Sleep in peace Becky

I was sorry to hear of Becky's passing. She hired me in 1997 at ARC. She was always easy and pleasant to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
