TRACY L. WIGGS
Tracy L. Wiggs, of Monticello, ME, died on August 1, 2025, in Houlton, Maine, with her family at her side. Tracy was born May 7, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to Gordon Winder (deceased) and Joan (Winder) Miller.
Tracy had many friends across the country, from her childhood through her adult years, and she stayed in contact with all of them all her life. She lived a life that was full of laughter and joy. She could laugh at herself and gave others permission to laugh with her. She was an accomplished fisherwoman and once won a derby in Ohio for a most impressive Channel Catfish.
She is survived by her mother, Joan Miller, and stepfather, William Miller, of Houlton, ME; her son, Cody Miller (Carrie), and grandsons, Trevor and Dyllan, of Caribou, ME; her son, Christopher Wiggs, of Phoenix, AZ; her sister, Penny Harris (Bob), of Houlton, ME; her brother, Billy Miller (Lindsey), of Phoenix, AZ; her brother, Andrew Miller, of Phoenix, AZ; her nephew, Ethan Harris; her niece, Anne Johnson; her nephew, Isaiah Miller; her dear aunts, Shirley Wagner (Jim, deceased) and Sandra Wagner (Bob); and many beloved cousins.
She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Ron Wagner; her father, Gordon Winder; Grandpa and Grandma Winder; Grandma Carmen Fosgate; Great-Grandma Karnowski; her special uncles, Bill Winder, Dr. John Winder, and Sonny Sprague; and her most special four-legged friend, Oliver.
The family would like to thank the Houlton Regional Hospital Staff for their excellent medical service, the Hospice Staff for the care of Tracy and the support to our family, the Houlton Ambulance crew, Bowers Funeral Home, her good friend Debbi Wilkinson and family for all the help they provided during Tracy's illness, and Joseph Harkins, PA (Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center), who provided compassionate care for Tracy and support to her family with words of wisdom that soothed the soul.
Birth and death are not an easy transition, and the space between is so precious, if only for a split second. We claim not to know all the answers, but our family believes the reunions will be joyous, filled with light and love, and we will rest in the arms of our creator, whole and at peace.
Tracy's celebration of life will be announced at a later time. Flowers can be sent to Mr. and Mrs. William Miller at 23 Garrison Rd., Houlton.
