Arvy (Bert) Franklin Ryan
April 17, 1943 - July 12, 2025
Arvy Franklin Ryan, of Clifton Colorado, passed away July 12th 2025.
He was born on April 17th 1943 to Walter & Luethella (Cole) Ryan in El Cajon, California.
He married the love of his life Helen Arlene Lenard in Delta, Colorado on May 22,1961.
They were happily married for 64 years.
At the age of 17, he started his long career as a truck driver.
Some of his earlier employments were that of hauling uranium and oil shell. He also drove for Holsum Bakery, Pepsi Cola and retired from his trucking career with M.A. Concrete.
Bert's hobbies included fishing, hunting, tinkering around in the yard and garden.
Bert was a cowboy who loved his family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bert was a strong and hard working man.
Bert is survived by his wife Helen (Arlene) Ryan and their two children, daughter Arlene (Linnea) Melton of Clifton, Colorado, Gerald (Ann) Ryan of Clifton, Colorado.
Bert had 5 grandchildren.
13 great grandchildren.
1 great, great grandson.
He is proceeded in death by his son Jay-Dee Ryan.
A celebration of life for Bert will be held August 30th @ 4 p.m. at The Palisade Church Of The Nazarene.
