Janice Tribble Obituary

Janice Kaye Tribble
June 19, 1953 - May 31, 2025
Janice was born to John & Myrna Overlease in Burlington, Co. She is survived by her husband, Kim Tribble, children Aaron and Angela, three grandsons, (Korbyn, Kinden, Landon), brothers Jim Overlease (Ann), Rick Overlease (Sandra), and sister Julie Bonine (Dave), and many nieces and nephews.
The Overlease's lived on a farm south of Stratton for a few years, briefly in Denver and settled in Evergreen. Janice graduated from Evergreen High School in 1971. After graduation Janice and sister Julie moved to Arizona, California, and Florida for a few years. Upon returning to Co. she went to school and became a registered license practical nurse. In this occupation she was very tenderhearted and loving towards her patients, since most of them had severe health problems or were at the end of their lives. She especially appreciated caring for patients with tracheotomies.
Janice married Kim Tribble and they had two children, Angie and Aaron. Janice loved dirt motor biking, road trips, sewing, reading, and time by a lake. She loved spending time with her grandsons and babysitting them. She enjoyed on-line chess games with opponents from around the world. After the death of her parents, she purchased a home in Cedaredge, Co. and remained there till her passing.
Janice was in a severe car accident 25 years ago. The accident took a toll on her health over the years. When in the hospital after the accident, Janice received Jesus Christ as her Savior. She gave testimony that she had received Christ by faith, so we rest in her statement of faith that she is now enjoying heaven.
Janice passed away May 31, 2025 in Grand Junction.

Someone asked the years and place of Janice's LPN training.
We don't have that information.
We had her graveside service on 7-12 at Riverside Cemetery, Hotchkiss, Co.
The Delta paper did not include this service and we are sorry.
One memory I forgot to share. Janice had such a kind voice either in person or on the phone. Her sewing was remarkable and she gifted my girls frequently.
We will miss her but we are thankful she trusted Christ to forgive her sin.
