Abe Rudnick Obituary
Pittsford: August 16, 2012 at age 86. Predeceased by brothers, Irving & Sanford Rudnick. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Hudla; children, Rita Rudnick & Howard (Miriam) Rudnick; grandchildren, Rachel & Joel Rudnick, Marcie Shapiro; sister, Rhoda Rothman; numerous nieces & nephews. Abe was a Holocaust Survivor and 50 year member of the Knights of Pythias. For over 50 years he owned Rudnick's Unfinished Furniture.
Funeral Services will be held on SUNDAY at 10 AM in the Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Burial, White Haven Memorial Park. Following the funeral the family will receive friends at 20 Tobey Brook in Pittsford SUNDAY-WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Donations in Abe's memory can be made to Lifetime Care-Hospice or The Cantorial Fund at Temple Beth El. To leave a message of condolence, please visit:

In 2004 I worked for a short time for Hastings Car Dealership as a courtesy driver. I took Abe home one day and We made a connection. He told me of some of his war experiences. He mentioned he still had nightmares 60 yrs later. I prayed for his sleep for a while, then he slipped my memory. I wish I knew him better. SHALOM, Old Man.
