Allen Forbes Obituary
Ontario: May 4, 2017 at age 66, passed away at home after a long illness. He was predeceased by his father, Allen Mock; mother, Grace Drewry; brother, Donald Mock. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sharon Forbes, and sister, Patricia (Charles) Wright, along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Crawford Funeral Home, 495 N. Winton Rd. A brief celebration of Allen's life will follow. Private gathering for family and close friends on Wednesday at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made in Allen's name to Unity Rehabilitation & Neurology or RGH Department of Medicine Nephrology Unit. My condolences to Allen's family. I had the privilege of working with Allen for many years at the NYSDOH AIDS Institute. He was always kind, gracious, committed to his work, and always had a smile in his face. I will always remember him as a kind and exceptional human being. Rest In Peace, Allen.

My condolences to Allen's family. I had the pleasure of working with Allen for about a decade at the State Health Department and he was always so kind and pleasant to work with. Allen cared very much about his work and the people he worked for and with. He always had a kind word to share with everyone.

My deepest condolences to the family for the loss of Allen's bright light. I worked with Allen for many years, and spoke with him almost daily, when he was with the NYSDOH AIDS Institute as our Contract Manager. Allen was fiercely dedicated to working to fight the HIV epidemic and to support all persons affected by it. His dedication and spirit were inspirational to many, many people. Allen's warm and open heart, and quick sense of humor will be greatly missed, and his family and friends are held in my heart. Godspeed Allen.

My condolences to Sharon and Allen's family and friends. I enjoyed his friendship in high school and we would run into each other periodically through the following years. I remember him fondly especially when he worked security at RGH in the 70's. It was always nice to see his friendly face and hear his words of comfort in the midst of an emergency. Rest in Peace my friend!

I am saddened by the news of Allen's death. I have fond memories from high school and beyond. Sometimes, on a late Friday or Saturday night we would pull up to a light at the same time on our Honda's and then we'd ride together and just enjoy a quiet night ride. Eternal rest grant unto Allen, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.
