Amanda Fagan Obituary
Marion: Suddenly on April 17, 2009. Survived by her parents, Andrew (Wendy) Fagan; sister, Vanessa Martinez; Felix (Shorty); grandmother, Patricia Dunford; aunts & uncles, Cheryl Porter, Pamela (Pete) Clerks, Charles Dunford; Margaret Fagan, Kate (Phil) Linden, Joseph Fagan & family; many cousins and dear friends, including Linda Quaring & Joey & Carrie Ersland, & Jake. Amanda was her father's child who loved helping people, being active outdoors, roller skating, animals, music & politics, & was an aspiring artist.
The family will receive friends to share memories TUESDAY, 4 - 7 PM & WEDNESDAY, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME (495 N. Winton Rd., between Browncroft & Humboldt). Memorial Service THURSDAY, 5:30 PM at Penfield United Methodist Church (1795 Baird Rd.) In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Amanda with a donation to The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm
(99 Victor Rd., Fairport, 14450). Online Condolences welcomed at: My loving daughter had an innocent sense of humor that at times only made her laugh. She loved her friends & family and , without question, life itself. She will be missed always & never forgotten. Hello you don't know me, but i knew Amanda well. My name is John Manko, and i sat across from her in all my art classes in high school. She was the only one i talked to because she was the only one i could relate to. I remember we would always bicker with like a married couple just for fun, she became a good friend. She gave me the inspration for so many of my paintings, and i believe if it wasn't for her I would not have made as much beautiful peaces of art. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her. And i assure you that i will have her name live on. It's my word to you.

I had the honor and pleasure of coaching Amanda when she played for the Newark JV Volleyball team. I remember her as a hard working dedicated player who would do anything to help her team. Our program is deeply saddened by the news of her passing.

From the first time I met Amanda at Braselton's I knew she was a special girl. I count it a blessing to have known her and taught the guitar to her. She will be miss dearly. My prayers go out to your whole family.

Amanda played softball and volleyball with my daughter in high school. The team always had warm-up music playing prior to each volleyball game. Amanda would not only do the warms-ups, she would also do a little dance and sing along to the music and this always brought a smile to my face.
