Amanda Lemmon Obituary
Wilmington, NC: Amanda Rose Lemmon, 22, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014. Mandy was born July 30, 1991 in Rochester, NY. She was a 2009 High Honors graduate of Harnett Central High School and a 2013 graduate of UNC Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her Grandfathers, Luther N. Lemmon and James R. Tarnowski.
Mandy is survived by her parents, Donald E. and Ellen R. Lemmon of Apex; Grandmothers, Mary L. Lemmon and Moira E. Tarnowski; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; too many friends to count, in every state she lived in.
Mandy was always a champion for the underdog, and a collector of strays, both 4-legged and 2-legged.
You will forever be in our hearts Pooh Bear.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the ASPCA of Wake County in Mandy's name.

Don,Words can not express the sadness I felt for you and Ellen after Joseph called us about your daughter. We were in your place three years ago when we lost our daughter aged 43 to a six months deal fighting cancer with no warning.. She was beautiful and I remember when you brought her by the office as your driver that day.Just cling to those many, many precious memories you have of her and remember sometimes in life it is not what we order but what we get.God had a plan for both our daughters and now they are enjoying the beauty of heaven.
