Dear Judy and family,
I am Betsy Sponable (Cathey). My folks were Kay and Pete. Kay was Dorie's cousin. Your folks were a very special part of my life growing up. We continued to stay in touch after we all left Woodmere. Your folks even came to FL for my wedding. I admired your Dad as he was one of the kindest people I have ever had the honor to know. We stayed in touch with cards and phone calls. I will keep them both in my heart where love never dies.
My sincere condolences for your loss.

Visiting with Aunt Dorris and Uncle Andy (Judy too) was always the highlight of my summer growing up. They and my parents were such good friends, and the combination of Andy and Jack always led to good times. Uncle Andy and Aunt Dorris were such a wonderful example of a truly happy marriage, they were so devoted to one another. We will miss spending time with him, and enjoying our trips to Buffalo and Ted's Hots. We are glad to share so many fond memories with you, he will be missed.
