Ann Hastings Obituary
Honeoye Falls: On May 12, 2017 after a short illness, Ann went home to be with her mama. Predeceased by her parents, Mary and William Hastings; her brother-in-law Sammy and sister-in-law Mary Kaye. Ann is survived by her nieces and nephews whom she adored; Josh and Candice (their children Liam, Caden & Lilly), Bard and Lindsay (their son Tyrion), Emily and Frankie (their daughters Penelope, Annabella & Catalina), Tara and Matt (their daughter Gabby), Jenna, Chessa, Carina, Cuyler and Katelyn. Her siblings, Debbie, Paul, Rosemary (Davis), Charlie, John (Debbie), William and Susi (Jim).
A long time Marco Island snow bird and lifelong Honeoye Lake resident, Ann leaves behind countless forever friends from Maine to Florida. To be Ann's friend was to be loved with all her heart.
Please join her family for a Memorial Service Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11 am at the West Bloomfield Congregational Church in W. Bloomfield. Ann has asked anyone unable to attend, to celebrate her life with a campfire in her memory. With great sadness we say goodbye. Peace be with you Aunt Ann. I was a childhood friend of Ann. We spent our young life in girl scouts, rafting, and generally creating mischief. I haven't kept in touch but I will always remember her smile and happy laugh.

To know and accept Ann was to have an experience of love, happiness and at times brutal honesty. She was a force to be reckoned with and I'm forever "Grateful" to have called her my friend. Actually, she was my framily. We were a chosen family to each other for 37 years.
My heart is broken but know she is where she wanted to be, with her mama. Ann is at peace and couldn't ask for more than that. She lived a
life full of adventure, freedom, friendship and love.
To the family, I'm so sorry there just are no words. Be comforted to know that Ann was well loved wherever she went and so many people who
met her, never forgot her. Memories will help as I will remember all the camping/hiking, concerts, experiences, laughs and just plain time
together.

I didn't see you often Ann, but when I did it was at the cemetery while you were taking wonderful care of your parents grave. We had some long conversations about life, our family and friends. Will miss you Ann, rest in peace.

I had the honor of attending Mercy High School with Ann. I adored her! She was a very sweet, fun loving girl. I have so many great memories of Ann. Thank you for all the laughs and smiles. Rest in Paradise my friend.
