Arnold Pegish Obituary
Fairport: July 26, 2007. Survived by his longtime companion, John Dash; sisters Arline Spengler, Delores (Mrs. Richard) Kment and Shirley Baart; several nieces and nephews; many, many friends; and his beloved dog, Waylon. The owner of the Bachelor Forum on ArtWalk, Arnie was a major force in the Rochester gay community, the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley, the Rochester Rams Motorcycle Club & was a founding figure in AIDS Rochester.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 5 at Christ Church Unity, 55 Prince St. in Rochester. At the time of his death, Arnie was raising funds for the Gay Alliance Building Fund. Memorials may be sent c/o John Dash, 2377 Huber Road, Fairport, NY 14450.
