Mercer, Bert
Keuka Lake/Penfield: On Monday, August 4th, 2008 at the age of 97. Predeceased by his wife Helen, brothers Charles and George and twin sister Ethel. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Nancy and Bill Bonter, Ginger and Bill Brown, and Jill and Jim Brasser. His grandchildren Kim and Pete, Steve and Wendy, Pam, Mark, Jeff and Cathy, John and Bonnie, and Jacquie. His great-grandchildren Hannah, Luke, Brandon, Heather, Kayla, Michael, Steven and twins Ashley and Kellie. His sister Kay Vreeland. Nieces and nephews. Bert was a retired principal of Indian Landing School in the Penfield Central School District.
A Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 7th at 1 p.m. at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Avenue, Brockport. Those wishing may contribute to the Rochester Friendly Home, 3156 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618.

His quick wit and humor prevailed in all conversation. His friendly smile will always be remembered, with his kindness and generiousty.
