Brian Koerner Obituary
Mt. Morris: June 28, 2011. Suddenly at age 44. He is survived by his wife of over 20 years Cosimina. 3 Children Justin Schneider of Rochester, Brianna & Ashley Koerner both of Mt. Morris. His mother Marlene (Fred) Pompili of Dansville. Brother Philip (Wendy) Howell of Nunda. Several nieces, nephews, cousins & many dear & loving Friends. He was predeceased by his father William Koerner in 1968 & his Brother William Koerner Jr. in 1984. Friends may call FRI from 4-8 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel St, (Rt. 408), Mt. Morris. Memorial Mass will be held SAT at 9:30 am at St. Patrick's Church. Memorials may be made to MS Foundation or to the family. Sign the online registry at

Brian and I took Law Enforcement together at BOCES in Mt. Morris in 1986. Got to have lunch with him and meet his nice family at his house a couple years ago. He was a great friend. Some people might not know but he wrote Windows Vista Security for Dummies. He was very successful, and one of the nicest guys ever. I'm going to miss you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, I can still remember as if it was yesterday when the two of you took my daughter and me in when we needed help. Brian's laughter could certainly light up a room no matter what the situation. If you need anything, let me know. Prayers and Hugs.
