C. Wright Obituary
Webster: May 6, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was born May 27, 1938 to Grant and Ellen (Withiam) Wright of Hector, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, uncles, aunts and several cousins. Survived by dear friends Thomas and Elaine Criswell of Webster, Stephen and Geralyn Stoker of Rochester and James and Emily Smith of Penfield, cousins Russell (Lonnie) Withiam of Springwater, Harold (Norma) Withiam of Ithaca, Richard (Carla) Kessler of Seattle, Debra Kessler of Scottsdale, AZ, Barbara Withiam of Interlaken and Ellen Kinney of Burdett.
Joe graduated from Watkins Glen Central High School, the University of Rochester (BS, chemistry), and MIT (MS, organic chemistry). He spent his career in the research labs of Eastman Kodak Co.
A life-long Reformed Christian, Joe was an active member of the Third Presbyterian Church of Rochester where a Memorial Service will be held on WEDNESDAY at 10:30 AM. No prior calling hours. Burial in Hector Presbyterian Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Third Presbyterian Church, WXXI Public Broadcasting or the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
