Cari Carlson Obituary
Rochester: Cari Carlson, sweet mother, sister, daughter, and friend, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 37 on January 15, 2013. She was born February 17, 1975 in Rochester, New York. She shared a selfless, tender love for her family and friends, with the greatest love for her precious daughter, Isabella. Through Bella's eyes, smile, and laughter Cari continues on with us.
Raised in the hills of South Bristol, New York, Cari attended Honeoye Central School. Following completion of her studies at Monroe Community College and the University of Rochester, she adventured west to Arizona where her natural gift for communication, coupled with her genuine interest in helping others, translated into immediate success in the property management and real estate industries. With the ocean calling and a reputation that preceded her, she moved to San Diego, California and quickly became the youngest regional manager in the history of her company. Cari was hugely successful in work and even more successful building friendships that stood all tests of time. Everywhere she went, Cari made lifelong friends who will forever cherish her selflessness, love, and unforgettable laugh.
Cari had a wondrous love for adventure and new experiences. Her passions included mountain climbing, skiing, skydiving, surfing, travel, and really fast cars. All of these loves paled in comparison to the joy brought to her life by the birth of her beautiful daughter. The two were inseparable, and in Bella, one can see Cari's inquisitive mind, loving heart, and absolutely infectious smile.
Cari is survived by her parents, Robert and Susan Carlson, her sister Dawn (Sean) Patterson, her brothers, Christopher (Tomoko) and John Carlson, her daughter Isabella Grace Delgado, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that have long called her sister.
Cari left an immeasurable imprint on so many, and she is loved more than words can possibly express. A celebration of Cari's life will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall of The United Church of Christ, 8758 Main Street, Honeoye, New York. Friends and family are invited to share with others touched by Cari's remarkable spirit. In lieu of flowers, please offer a donation to a charity of your choosing. In giving to those in need, you honor Cari and her compassion for those less fortunate.

Reading the names of the people posting in this guest book brings back so many memories of the high school days of Cari and her friends...Such a winderful group of kids that have all gone on to lead wonderful successful lives.
