Carl Morse Obituary
Palmyra: Age 73, suddenly on Fri., March 13, 2015, while playing the music that he loved. Calling hours will not be observed. Private graveside services with military honors will be held in the spring at Sampson Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Please consider donations to Fiddlers of the Genesee, PO Box 631, Fairport, NY 14450 or to the family at 1695 Shilling Rd., Palmyra, NY 14522.
Lloyd was born on September 28, 1941 in Bath, NY, the son of Norman & Mae Kumbaugh Morse. He was a member of Western Presbyterian Church of Palmyra. An accomplished musician, Lloyd was active with the Rushville Hayride Organization and Fiddlers of the Genesee. The funeral home proudly flies the United States Army flag in honor of Lloyd's service to our country.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Rochelle; daughter, Robyn Jean Morse; son, Greg Morse; sister, Ora Hammond and twin grandsons, Bradley and Adam Morse. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Mae Morse; sister, Ruth Holden; and brothers, Jim and Robert Morse.

I'm so sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing! I always liked working with him at the Water Authority. Pleasant and so easy to get along with. I wish I could have heard him play his music.

You had the best smile and such a gentle spirit. You were a good Dad to Robyn & Greg and the best Grandpa for Bradley & Adam. You did your very best to support your family. The whole family will miss you. When we hear Bluegrass, we will think of you and your passion for playing and of sharing your gift with so many others. Your contributions to the Lyons organization will be recognized with your faithful voice in the church choir and your working around the church grounds. You will be remembered for all of your glorious gardens. In your quiet manner you loved my sister. You made a difference in so many lives. What a blessing!
