Catherine Hooker Obituary
Nunda: Peacefully ended her 99+ year journey Saturday 9/17 at Teresa House, Geneseo, NY. Catherine was born February 6, 1917 to Chester and Florence Stanton Bugman. Preceded by her husband, Roy Hooker; granddaughter, Susan Zingerella; sister, Marion Schultz; and brothers, Don, Harold and Chet Bugman. Catherine was the loving mother of Jo Perry, Gerry Kennedy, Bill (Joyce) Hooker, Don (Sharon) Hooker, Bob (Sandy) Hooker, Susie (Ed) Jones, Roy Hooker, John (Sheila) Hooker and Ric Hooker. Catherine had 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great grandchildren. She was our loving mother. We will always remember her love and she will forever be gravely missed.
Calling hours will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 at the Mann Funeral Home in Nunda. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 11 AM at the Oakland Wesleyan Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo, NY 14454.

Mrs H was such a nice woman, I worked with her in the KC S HS kitchen when we had organization dinners. She made the greatest fried chicken and her hot cross buns were the BEST! We were lucky when we were in school to have wonderful people as lunch ladies. She will be missed, I knew her for a long time, Happy Journey Grandma H.
