Catherine Solazzo Obituary
Brighton: Died peacefully on December 25, 2013 at age 49 after a five year battle with cancer. Survived by her husband, Bruce David Campbell; daughter, Olivia Campbell; parents, Michael and Genevieve Solazzo; siblings, Dr. Anthony (Melinda) Solazzo, Molly Solazzo, Susan (Rory) Job, David (Torre) Solazzo; nieces and nephews, Nicole and Michael Solazzo, Kate and David Job, Evelyn Solazzo; and long-time family friend, Teri Roberts. Catherine was a graduate of Mercy High School. She received her Masters degree in Special Education from Syracuse University and she devoted her career to teaching and human services.
Friends may call 3-6 PM Sunday, December 29, at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Monday, December 30, at St. Louis Church, 64 South Main Street, Pittsford, NY 14534. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lipson Cancer and Blood Center, Rochester General Hospital Foundation, 1425 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621.
