We have been neighbors since we moved in to our house in 1992 when my middle daughter was born. We had many times when we went swimming in her built in pool. She always treated us like family. She always treated my kids like they were her grandchildren. We went to the same church and saw her and the boys many times over the years.
We are very sorry to hear of her passing and she will be sadly missed.

Dear Ward Family,

Ceal was a fixture on Golden Rod Lane. She had the best holiday decorations for decades. No one could come close to imitating that life size Santa Clause and reindeer that protruded from over the doorway.

Her yard was always well manicured. Never a strand of grass out of place. Colorful flowers were planted each year.

But what stands out most is her willingness to help others. She opened up her beautiful home to those in need, gave them a sense of purpose and offered them a regular life, regardless of their background. She did not treat anyone different. And she was GOOD at this.

May you fine comfort in knowing that Ceal's work on earth is done and she's resting in paradise. She will be missed in the neighborhood.

Aunt Ceal,
You will be greatly missed.
Alot of my greatest childhood memories happened with you and at your house.I remember being 7 years old and in the morning getting dropped off there because my dad had to go to work. Jeromy would get up in the morning and run down the stairs and you would make us breakfast and say my 2 little stinky lays.
I remember as a kid me and Jeromy went to Guardian Angels school. Both my mom and dad worked alot of hours and at school in 2nd grade my class had a little concert we were putting on and all the kids parents were there. I was in class crying and feeling down and there you came in saying "Heidi" with a big radiant smile that you had that lit up a room. Wherever you went you always gave off so much energy and had people laughing.
You were a people person and loved people.
Christmas time especially as a child was magical. The Littlest Angel Story you made a special Christmas tradition and kep it alive for many years. I still have and will cherish forever The Littlest Angel Book that you bought all us kids.
Aunt Ceal I also cherish and I will never forget the glorious time with you, Jeromy, and the boys when you took us to Cape Cod
Massachusetts.
I know you are smiling down from heaven, and having such a wonderful time with Grandma Pokorny, Your Brother Karl Pokorny, Aunt Herta Pokorny, and My dad Russ Sciolino. I Love You Aunt Ceal, and I'm greatful that you were my God Mother. God Bless you Aunt Ceal until we meet again. XoXo Kisses and Hugs To Heaven.
