Thomas
Rochester: July 2, 2008, at Strong Memorial Hospital due to complications from AIDS. Born in Batavia, NY, August 27, 1958, Christopher grew up in Cortland, Webster and Penfield, NY. He was graduated from HW Schroeder High School, Monroe Community College and Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. He spent many years as a fashion designer in New York City. He is survived by his mother, Louis (Edna M.) Alexander of Ormond Beach, FL; father, Thomas R. Taber of Rochester; sisters, Tracey (David) Snow of Niwot, CO and Mary Elizabeth (Pearce) Sloan of Rochester; brother, Thomas M. (Dianne) Taber of Flower Mound, TX; several nieces and nephews. Chris is predeceased by his brother, John Patrick, 1983 and sister, Kathleen Edna, 2007. Christopher was grateful for the loyalty and friendship of dear friends.
Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family.

To the family of Chris: My mother called to inform me of Chris' passing and I want you to know how very sorry I am to hear of your loss. Chris was a very special friend of mine during our high school years. He and I shared a love of musicals. He was convinced that he could pull off staging a full-blown theatrical performance of "Showboat" at H.W. Schroeder High School, with me starring as Magnolia! I loved his enthusiasm and his wonderful creativity. I always knew he was destined for greatness in NYC. I will always hold Chris in my heart. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry about Chris, and about your sister last year. My heart has been with you more than you know. You were always a special friend to me in high school, and I just want you to know that you're remembered, and that there are very heart-felt thoughts and prayers with you. May God be especially close these days, and give you His comfort, understanding and peace for always.
