Cody Alvito Obituary
Brockport, NY: On May 5, 2015, age 23 suddenly taken to a peaceful place. Beloved son of Kathy and Steve Alvito. Predeceased by grandpas George Drake and Frank Alvito; uncle Bob Drake. Survived by sisters Jamie Alvito and Tiffany Goodenough; grandmas Betty Drake and Janet Alvito; uncles George (Pam) Drake, Doug (Cathy) Drake, Mark Alvito, Mike Salatel; aunts Jean (Bob) Kaforey, Lisa Salatel, Paula (Steve) Smith, Sharon Grace; many loving cousins and close friends. Member of the Finger Lakes Classic Car Club, employee of URMC, student at Bryant and Stratton. Loved Rockabilly, doo-wop, the Clash, Country Rap, Velocity TV, his 36 Chevy pick-up, collecting outboards and antiques, driving fast, vacations in the 1000 Islands, and riding bikes and hanging out with best buddy dad.
Will be missed beyond words by all those he touched.
Friends may call at Arndt Funeral Home, 1118 Long Pond Road (South of Maiden Lane) on Saturday 2-5 PM followed by Funeral Service at 5 PM in funeral home chapel.

Steve, I had the pleasure of having you and Mark's friendship for a couple of years when I lived up on Dewey Ave. I am so sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathy to your family. So sorry to hear this news. Cody tranported me to the car the day we brought our son home from the hospital. We discovered we lived on the same street. Ever since, he'd stop and talk with my husband or wave to us. Such a sweet soul.
