David Ashbery Obituary
Miamisburg, OH - David R. Ashbery, 86, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020. He was born January 17, 1934 in Buffalo, New York.
David was a graduate of Holley High School in Holley, New York and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company after 40 years of service. David was an active member of the United Methodist Churches in the Holley, New York area and most recently was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn (Trumpeter) Ashbery; son, David (Angela) Ashbery; daughter, Lynda (Chad) Dodd; grandchildren, Alexander "Alex", Joshua, Luke, and Isabella "Izzie"; brother, Richard (Amy) Ashbery; sister, Alice (James) Richardson; sisters-in-law, Catherine Erhard and Lisbeth (Robert) Antes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Cathern (Brown) Ashbery; and his brothers, Thomas (Lorraine) Ashbery, Donald (Betty) Ashbery, and James (Emma) Ashbery.
Funeral Services were held last week in Miamisburg, Ohio and burial took place at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
