To Betty and Marty,
Many of my favorite childhood memories were with David- we grew up together and had the best of times. From my family to yours, and from my heart to my dear friend, we are so sorry.

Marty - Wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family since I heard the news. I'm not in Rochester or I would have paid my respects today in person. ~ Karen (Bergen) Deitz

Very sorry to hear about Dave. As kids, we were friends for a couple of years in the 1960's when he lived on Lexington Ave, just across from the Bowen's (Larry). I remember Dave as a one of a kind, great person who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

All the young dudes from the neighborhood looked up to Dave D'Angelo "Monte Carlo, Dave" cruis'in down Lexington Blvd. in his light colored Monte Carlo with tunes like "I'm a fool for the City" by Fog Hat or Ted Nugent or even Donna Summer's "Bad Girls" creaming from his car as he posed and slowly drove by with his hand pressed slightly against his lips in his signature pose. His Dark Tan, and light blue eye's made the girls lust after him. He was definitely the "King OF Cool".
I wish I knew he lived in Monrovia California, I pass by there all the time.
You will be remembered forever, Big D!
