David was a client of mine for over a year. I have always hoped to make a difference in my clients lives, but David made a difference in mine. He was a amazing man. I considered him a friend and a client. I will miss him greatly.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Was happy to have reconnected with him on Facebook a few years ago. He had left Auburn and Cayuga Valley about the time Paul Strauss, John Tomandl and I were trying to get junior memberships. To my knowledge, he was the only junior member prior to our eventual success. He sort of paved the way for us. He was always a fun guy to be around.

I have known Dave for many years as we volunteered as Trolley crew at the New York Museum of Transportation and at the Rochester Model Railroad Club. Dave's knowledge of model railroading was over the top. If you had troubles, problems with a piece of equipment Dave was the guy that had the answers. Dave was always willing to help out especially with the younger members of the club. Dave was one of the people that I wish I could have sat down and recorded our conversations. Dave you are no longer suffering and operating God's trolley car bringing people to Station Paradise. Our parting is temporary till we meet again.

So sorry. I am reliving all of those wonderful memories of YAF. Our skit trips, our meetings, our plays, going out for drinks with the gang. Those were such fun times. Your vehicle, the redone ambulance ? was such a hoot!! Once when I had poison ivy you brought me a bouquet of jewel weed, the antidote for poison ivy. You were such a gentleman. Always thoughtful and kind. I will pray for you and your family. Wishing your family my deepest sympathy.
