Happy Birthday Dad. We all still miss you tremendously and still cannot believe you are gone.

Dear Sara and Marty and Matt,
I was shocked to hear of your father's death. Although I'm a month late, please accept my sincerest sympathy. When we were all young and foolish, we had so much fun together. We shared beers and jokes while scrubbing clams, throwing one another into the pool, and splashing around a Cape Cod beach. We loved eating the bluefish he caught and your mother grilled. Dee was a fun-loving guy, and it sounds as if he found happiness in North Carolina.
Much love to you, Aggie Perry

I'm told this will get easier, and I'm sure it will, but at this point, after over a month, I still cannot believe my Dad is gone.

I miss you Dad!

Dad, Nothing is the same without being able to tell you about it. I know you didn't want to live to a ripe old age and I am happy that you had so many friends in NC that really loved you, just as you do here. I'm sure you are stirring up trouble up there...love and miss you forever.

I have many great memories of Dave. He was always a highlight of the gatherings; as he told his stories and had everyone laughing along with him. Life is sometimes too short - he would tell us to live it to the best of our ability; which is very sound advice.
Know that your Dad was special to those that got to know him. He will now spread his humor on to others!!
I apologize for not being there in person, but I was out of town. Hugs to you all.

Marty, Sara and family-

Your Dad was a fun loving guy who made everyone smile and laugh. He always had a great story or joke to tell he will be missed by all. Hold onto all the memories and may you find strength to get through this time. God Bless to all of you.

Love,
Scott & Sue Doty

I will always miss the "catch ups" I had with Dave when when he was in town. He always shared his great ideas for me on the next big adventure! I'll miss that, and all the laughs we had through out the years. I'll bet Dave's chattin' up a storm with "Big Al" on how they both have to get their girls into to something that's got a lot of style, just like they did when they'd visit on Dickinson Street!
God bless, I miss you

When I think of Dave my mind always replays his infectious laugh and sense of curiosity.

One of his unfulfilled wishes was to go to Switzerland and ride the trains around in the Alps with me as his tour guide.
