Our family is saddened by Don's passing and sorry that we missed the obituary. On behalf of the Capo family, please accept our sincerest condolences.

Don was always very special to my Dad and Mom (Bob & Joanne Capo). Even as a little kid, I remember Don in my father's barber shop and how, much later in life, his visits to my Dad in the nursing home meant so much. There they were the 2 of them, one sicker than the other, making each other smile and laugh.

I have always been grateful for the joy Don's visits brought to my Dad and Mom, especially as the end neared for my Dad. Now, Don is reunited with his former barber buddy Bob and my mom Joanne.

Carol, Denise and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you all.

I have never fogotten Mr. Piccolo for helping develop my love for music. He taught me flute at Holy Cross around 39 years ago. He was such a fun teacher who was kindhearted and loved his students. I am sure that he will be greatly missed by many. My deepest regards to all his family and friends.

I have great respect and affection for Don Piccolo. I had the good fortune to work with Don at both Holy Trinity School and All Saints Jr. High School. He shared his love of music with so many young people enriching their lives. Those who knew him will always remember his great and genuine smile, and willingness to have his students perform. He and his many gifts will be misssed. May God bless you, Don. Mary Caffrey

Mr Piccolo taught me flute at Holy Trinity School. I have very fond memories of playing in the band! It is good to see he lived such a full life, and is remembered so well. Mary Kate (Alessi)

Don brought the sound of Music through the wall as I taught Health, on the other side. Nothing like hearing Christmas music in October, we share many great memories at All Saints Catholic Academy.
