Greece/Gates: Peacefully on April 24, 2012 at age 88 after 30 courageous years with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Alzheimers. Predeceased by parents, Horace & Ellison Ladd; sister, Arlene; brothers, Gene and Harold; husband, Howard Dalcin. Loving mother of Patricia Beach, Lawrence (Sherry) Dalcin, Jennifer (Dick) Batz, Robert (Claudia) Dalcin; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Virginia (Paul) Pangrazio, Yvonne Conklin, Clarence Ladd and Carol Ashley; many relatives and friends.

Special thanks to Visiting Nurses Services, aide Theresa, Lipson Cancer Center, Dr. John Phelan and staff.

Friends and family may call Thursday, April 26th, 3-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Her Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 11:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Journey Home, 994 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. To share a special memory, please visit:

Doris was a strong, caring, classy lady who was everpresent in the lives of those she loved. Her guidance and influence helped mold the greatest son-in-law any parents could ever hope for.
