Doris Mettrick Obituary
Greece: Passed away on November 9, 2017 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband, Stanley. She is survived by her sons, Clive (Kristine) & Steven (Elaine); granddaughters, Brittany & Alexa; step-grandchildren, Ricky (fiance, Ashley) Connor, Lauren (Nick) Saunders, Sara Connor, Katherine Rendon, & John Rendon; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Kendall, Isabella, & Gabriella; nieces & nephews in the US, UK, & Europe, including Janet Plant.
Doris survived the Nazi Blitz of London during WWII. She immigrated from England in 1956 with her husband Stanley. While in the US she lived in Rochester, Greece, and finally in Penfield. She was a loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother. Doris retired from the Eastman School of Music in 1990.
Family will receive friends 4 - 7 PM Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard. Contributions may be made to: Lolllypop Farm, Fairport, NY. To share a memory please visit:
