It’s been said that of all earthly music, that which reaches farthest into heaven is the beating of a truly loving heart. If those words are true, Mrs. Lickers must have been serenading heaven with glorious symphonies for a long, long time. Her loving heart embraced everyone, and all who met her could not help loving her in return – more music for heaven, of which she is now, without doubt, a part. What a life to celebrate!

May her children, grandchildren, family and friends, who grieve the loss of her love and warmth, celebrate her life and her spirit, and continue to share her greatest gift with each other as she taught them. To each of them, my deepest sympathy.

Mrs. Lickers was a very warm, kind hearted and patient person who always spoke only good things about people. I have many fond memories growing up and spending time with the Lickers family. My thoughts and prayers are with the Lickers family in their time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Mrs. Lickers has always been a blessing to those who knew her. Growing up, she was a second Mom and a profound role model both personnally and professionally. She will always be in my heart.
