Edmund Knittel Obituary
Greece - Passed away on July 2, 2021. He is predeceased by his brother Robert. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Johanne (Montello) Knittel; children Donna (Terry) Tydings, Thomas (Susan) Knittel; grandchildren Ashlee (Nate) Vankouwenberg, Kyle Billings, Jordyn Billings, Sawyer (fiancé Adam Lynch) Knittel; great-grandchildren Reagan and Braedy Vankouwenberg; brother Larry Knittel of Montana; sister-in-law Darlene Knittel; several nieces and nephews.
Ed was an avid outdoorsman. Fly fishing was his passion and his happy place was at his cabin in the Southern Tier. He was a Navy veteran during the Korean War and a retiree of RG&E Bee Bee Station.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7 at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road. Funeral mass Thursday 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Journey Home 994 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626.

Our deepest sympathies to Sonny's family. He was a nice man with a great sense of humor.He and Bob are probably up there fly fishing and sharing jokes. Remember the happy times with him and may he rest in peace. God bless him and his family.
