Survived by children, Kelli (Michael Kerlin) Bearer, Tara Bearer, Chris (Michelle) Bearer and Sean Bearer; grandchildren, Grace, Genna and Abigail; sister-in-law, Laurie Bearer; many nieces and nephews; dear friend, Angie Abdelfattah and her family. Predeceased by brother, Bill Bearer.
Calling hours,Thursday 4-7 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. Funeral Mass, Friday 12 NOON at St. John of Rochester Church, Fairport. Interment, Pleasant Cemetery, Fairport. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charity of your choice in Ed's name.

Mr. Bearer was a kind soul and always had a smile on his face. He still loved the Fairport Football games and sat on the bench this Fall with my dad and I. You will be missed...

So sorry to hear of Uncle Ted's passing...only good memories and smiles whenever I think of him...I can still see him as a young man in his National Guard uniform hopping into his late 50's grey Oldsmobile with the cool maroon leather seats to drive to his monthly meetings or stepping out of the Dugan's truck with goodies. Now he's reunited with Aunt Dotty in Heaven where we all would like to meet in time....you had a great run, Uncle Ted, rest in peace and God bless the entire Bearer family.
