Geoca, Eitsa
(Stefanides)
Rochester: Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed on December 14, 2009 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Theodore; and son, Peter. Mrs. Geoca is survived by her son, Karl (Shirley) Geoca; daughters, Florence (Gus) Stefanou and Vicki (Doug) Dumm; daughter-in-law, Nancy Geoca; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, who were the loves of her life; and sisters, Betty (Ed) Forgione and Katherine Sharp; sister-in-law, Louise Stefanides; nieces and nephews. Eitsa and her husband Ted were owners of The Hayward Sweet Shop in Rochester for many many years. Eitsa was known for her deep love of family and her sweet kindness to everyone. She was dedicated to and extremely proud of her Greek heritage, leaving a great legacy to her family.
Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Friday 4-8 PM. Trisaghion Service will be held at 7 PM. Mrs. Geoca's Funeral Service will be Saturday 10 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 962 East Avenue, Rochester, 14607. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Those wishing may contribute to the church in her memory.
