Elizabeth Dunbar Obituary

Dunbar, Elizabeth "Beth"
Pittsford: July 15, 2008. She is survived by her brother, Hugh (Sue) Van Horn of Alexandria, VA; sister, Margaret (Irvin) Fox of Montoursville, PA; and many beloved nieces and nephews; grand-nieces and nephews. Beth was predeceased in 2001 by her husband, William N. Dunbar. Beth met Bill in 1973 while she was Curator for the Margaret Woodbury Strong estate where he was a skilled carpenter creating exhibits for the new museum. Beth worked for many years as Bookeeper and Credit Manager for the Pittsford Animal Hospital.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Beth's life will be held Saturday, July 26th, 2 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Beth may be directed to Pittsford Animal Hospital, 2816, Monroe Ave., Rochester, 14618 or Lipson Cancer Center, Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester, 14621. Friends who wish to share a memory of Beth that can be read during the memorial service are asked to send memories to [email protected], or to light a candle at www.anthonychapels.com

Beth was a volunteer at the Highlands at Pittsford. She was a spectacular women. She always had a smile on her face. I will always remember Beths smiling face and her love for animals. Beth will be deeply missed.
