Evan Lockhart Obituary
Penfield: Evan Lockhart, 15, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2015. Evan was a funny, kind, and gentle person beloved by many.
Evan was a high honor roll student at Penfield High School, where he was a member of the Track and Cross Country teams.
Evan is survived by his parents, Trey and Christine Lockhart, and his sister, Madeline Lockhart, of Penfield. He also leaves his grandparents, Frieda Tietz, of Pittsford; Haines and Janet Lockhart, of Penfield; and Margaret and David Richey, of Irondequoit. Evan is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Memorial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Evan would want everyone to extend an act of kindness to a family member, friend, or stranger.

Not knowing how or why this happened, I am a grandmother of a friend of Evan.... I am so sorry to see a young life like this end so sadly.... I ache for the loss to the family and my grandsons friend
I met Evan briefly but know he was loved and will be missed.

I ran cross country with Evan and he was a kid that I am proud to call a friend of mine. His attitude was always positive no matter the circumstances and he always brought a smile to everyone on the team with his wonderfully, querkey spirit. My favorite memory of Evan was his desire to run and partake in all post school events shoeless and shirtless, even in the blistering cold he would be outside like this and whenever someone offered him a jacket or told him to put some more clothes on he would happily respond with a smile "I'm good". I'm sorry for your loss and will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers are with the family in their time of despair.
