Fae Kruse Obituary
North Port, FL: Fae C. Kruse, age 79, of North Port, FL and Sodus Point, NY, died on March 25, 2014. Fae was born in Rochester, NY on March 27, 1934. She has been a part time resident of North Port for the last 13 years. Fae was a 1951 graduate of Webster, NY High School. She continued her education for most of her working career to remain as informed and up to date as possible. She worked at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester and volunteered as an ambulance nurse for Union Hill. She was a Physician's Assistant at the Webster Health Care Center. After retiring from there, she did continue working at the Sodus Health Care Center. Fae volunteered at the Sodus Light House Museum, and was a member of the button club. She attended and volunteered at the Sodus Point UMC and was a member of the Webster UMC.
Surviving family members include her husband, Eugene; daughter Linda Murray (John); son Phillip; granddaughters Valerie Ward (B.J.), and Cristine Leach (Trevor); and great granddaughters Faela and Whisper Ward.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Florence Marquardt.
Fae will be sadly missed by all.
Services will be held at a later date at the Sodus Point United Methodist Church.
Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel is handling arrangements.

I will always remember Cousin Fae for her comforting thoughts over the years and also when my family had taken her on our vacations to the Maine seashore years ago. The family will be in Our thoughts and prayers, God Bless You.

I'm so sorry to see this - Fae was my first clinical preceptor in my Nurse Practitioner program in 1993. She was a wonderful person, she welcomed me into her home, when I was far away from mine. Meant alot to me. I learned alot from her - personally and professionally. Very sad to see this.

I have many fond memories of Fae when we worked together years ago at the sodus health center. she was a very caring provider. I will never forget how caring she was to me when I was quite ill with pneumonia and had had a chest x ray and they saw something they didn't like and wanted a repeat xray She called me and told me that I had to come back for a repeat I was so sick I told her that I couldn't and she told me to just wait for her she was on her way to come get me and take me now that's a caring provider !!!!

We are so sad to learn of the death of our friend Fae! She was such a special part of our church family! She brought flowers all summer long, helped with flea market, pricing and sorting, never said no to helping with the bread run and food pantry, always had a smile on her face, and was such a gracious hostess during picnics and even church services at the cottage! We will all miss her so much! She was part of our family, and will be missed so much! Sending love, comfort and peace to Gene and the family! We treasure Fae's friendship!

Growing up with Chrissy and Valeri as my best friends I spent many days and holidays at Fae's house on the bay. She always had a smile on her face for me and was always welcoming. Will mis her very much!

I've known Fae since I was a patient of hers at Sodus Medical Center. I've cherished the friendship that we've had since we both ended up living in Harbor Cove in North Port, FL. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
