Seneca Falls: 93, of Lake Rd, Seneca Falls passed away Saturday evening, March 19, 2011, at his residence, following a long illness. Calling hours will not be observed and funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Kindly consider contributions to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 or the North Seneca Ambulance, Inc. P.O. Box 817, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 in memory of Mr. Anderson.

Born in Syracuse, the son of Raymond and Alice Smith Anderson, on July 4, 1917. In April of 1941 he married Eleanore J. Lewis and they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary next month. Francis was manager of the Department of Advertising, Scheduling and Planning for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, retiring in 1977 after 38 years of service.

Surviving, besides his wife Eleanore, are two daughters, Judith Anderson of Seneca Falls and Jeanne Smith of Seminole, FL; four grandchildren, William Smith, Katherine Smith both of FL, Kelynne Dougherty of Arlington, VA, Karl Bisbee, NY. Two great- grandchildren; Lauren Smith, FL and Oliver Dougherty, VA.

Fran will be missed. In the few short years I have known him, he has been a wonderful friend with a gift for stories from his rich past. My sympathy to all who loved him and will miss him.
