Frank Gelo Obituary
Irondequoit: August 9, 2011 at age 78. Predeceased by parents, Mary and Charles and brother, Charles, Jr.; beloved husband of Ann (Trovato); loving father of Andrea (George) Bonacci and Renee (Patrick) Devanney; grandfather of Eric Bonacci, Nickolas Markoulis, Kylie, Brandyn and Jamie Devanney, Michael (Megan) and Joseph (Stacey) Bonacci; 7 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law of Sally and Frank Trovato; uncle of Daniel (Shelia) Trovato, Sheri (David) Barbero, Shana (David) Pugliese, Sheila (Kostas) Peters and Michael (Cara) Trovato; great-nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Rochester General Hospital, 5400 Unit and St. Ann's Home 9th floor for their compassion and excellent care giving.
Friends may call SUNDAY 5-8 PM and MONDAY 3-6 PM at the Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Rd. (Near Norton). Frank's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 11 AM at. St. Cecilia's Church. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity in his memory.

Ann,Andrea and Renee: I am very sorry to hear about your loss. It seems like just yesterday that Frank and I were working together at ARA. Everyday at 4;00 pm I would go down to the lower level at Rochester Products and pull Frank up the big ramp with his candy cart in tow.
He was one of the great one's and I will surely stop and remember him always.

We are shocked and deeply saddened about the loss of Frank. He was an amazing Husband, Father and Grandfather. He touched so many lives with his kindness, warmth and love.
