George Maschoff Obituary
Victor - September 17, 2018. Predeceased by his son, David; parents, Rev. Theodore and Lillie Maschoff; sister, Esther Koss; brothers, Alvin, Elmer, Victor and Karl Maschoff. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Ann; son, Mark (Missy) Maschoff; loving granddaughters, Tracy and Rachel; sister-in-law, Lois Maschoff; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
After graduating high school in Lincoln, Missouri, George joined the Navy during WWII. He retired as manager after 47 years of service at GMAC.
Calling hours,Thursday 4-7 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. Funeral Service, Friday 10 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Blvd., Rochester 14625. Private entombment at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Church.

I will always remember him as a manager who truly had an open door policy. Who could talk to him and would listen and if any action had to taken he did it.

I simply cannot call him anything other than Mr. Maschoff. To this day, he has remained my most influential mentor and made me the manager I am today. He literally found good in every human being. They broke the mold with him. You'll never be forgotten, Mr. Maschoff.

What a wonderful neighbor and friend. Every time George drove by my house, I would hear "beep, beep" and see him wave to me from his big black Cadillac. I'm sure he is in heaven, in a new, shiny Cadillac passing all his friends with the same familiar "beep, beep". Rest in peace, George.

The greatest boss ever!!!! I am so saddened by this news - he was one of a kind! When I wanted a little more time to stay home with my newborn - somehow he convinced the main office to let me stay home - he let my son play with his desk calculator when I came to visit the office - After I moved to Cleveland - he would still call me and check in...My deepest sympathy to his wonderful wife and family.

What a truly amazing man! Very proud and dedicated in whatever he did and always with a smile. He was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by the Auto industry. May peace and the many happy memories of George be with you at this time.
