Gerald Semmel Obituary
Honeoye Falls - went to heaven to be with his loving wife, Diane, and his parents LeVern and Virginia (Chalker) Semmel, on June 5, 2021. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Todd) Ford; son, Christopher (Lorie) Semmel; brothers, Karl Semmel, LeVern (Nancy) Semmel; sister, Evelyn DuBois and grandchildren, Travis, Trevor & Taylor Ford and Mason, Parker & Easton Semmel.
Jerry was born on July 24, 1940 in Honeoye Falls. After graduating from Lima High School, Jerry served in the United States Army.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 4:00-7:00PM at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Private burial will take place at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lima with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Volunteer Ambulance at https://www.hfmva.org/donate. Jerry came in to the Mendon Town Hall often, that is how I cam to know him. I know he missed his wife "terrible, terrible, terrible" and is happy to be with her once again. I will miss him but know the emotional and physical pain he was in, I know he is at peace. God Bless you Jerry.
