Gloria Meli Obituary
Gates/Webster - Friday, August 21, 2020, at age 91. Predeceased by her parents, Carl and Theresa Arcara; brother, Phil (Dottie) Arcara; sister, Grace McCue; brother-in-law, Frank Meli. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Fred Meli; children, Steve (Gail) Manning of MA, Dr. Mark F (Sakiko) Meli of Japan, Lori (Ron) Stein; grandchildren, Nina Morrell, Aidan, Cody and Ashley Stein, Tessa and Sophie Manning; sisters, Angela Popowich, Elizabeth Marcello, Maryann Arcara, Carol (Jim) Mabelis; brother-in-law, Joseph Meli; aunt and uncle Jean and Joe Santacroce; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Meli was a retiree of the Gates-Chili Central School District and a member of the Gates Lioness Club.
Friends may call TUESDAY from 4-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Wednesday, August 26, all are invited to attend her funeral services at 12:30PM in the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to AutismUp, 50 Science Parkway, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
