Dear Fern, Craig and Family,
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family on the passing of Harris. He was a Legend in Auctioneering! We always looked forward to seeing him at the conventions of the National and New York State Auctioneers Associations. As the first President of the New York State Auctioneers Association, I knew he helped many New York State Auctioneers to strive for excellence and integrity in the auction business. This is what I have strived to do over the last 37 years.
May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God, Rest In Peace, Amen!

Fern, Craig and Family - so sorry to hear of Harris' passing - I will remember him as a dapper dresser, wonderful horseman, and generous giver of his auctioneering talents to the Northampton Driving Society at our annual banquet. What an interesting life he must have had! And how lucky you all were to be a part of it!

Dear Craig and Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your father, a true icon in the area. I am sure with all the people your family involved with, you will not remember me, however I was a regular at your auctions for years.

Dear Fern, Craig, Lenore and beloved family of Harris Wilcox,
I love you all and miss Harris with you. What a man! What a life!
How do I describe such a wonderful man?
I will begin by saying.......Harris Wilcox was "ONE OF A KIND AND A VERY KIND ONE."
Harris cared for people. All kinds of people.....young, old and in between. He learned that from his Father.......GOD.
Harris loved God, people, family, friends, horses, and a good, juicy steak!
I was one of the privileged ones to have known Harris. He helped me purchase my first car when I was working with Youth For Christ in Rochester, NY. He came to my father's funeral and gave me one of his famous, unforgettable hugs. He was like a father to me. He gave me wise, loving counsel when I got married to my dear wife Donna. He told me to be gentle and kind. I still try to live by that good counsel.
He had a smile that could melt your heart. I loved him. Still do.
He bought me lunch many times and we would pray in his big Lincoln or Cadillac and strategize together how to bring young people closer to Jesus and help them realize how much God loves them.
I will never forget Harris Wilcox.
Such a generous, gracious man and faithful servant. Truly a gift from God to my life.
May God bless you all as you treasure the wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, God gave to you and the "magical memories" of love and laughter you have had with him.
Rejoicing with you in his life and legacy and look forward with you to a holy reunion in Heaven.
Gratefully in God's comforting, Amazing Grace,

Fern, thanks for letting the "trailride campers" back in Penna know of Harris' passing. Harris and you always made us feel right at home when we visited your place up here. My thoughts are with you and those who surround you as you gather to comfort one another and share fond memories of a life truly lived to it's fullest.

Mr. Wilcox was a great man. Many years I attended the 4-H Livestock Auctions with my father and loved his amiable manners and professionalism. The world was lucky to have had such a person. God Bless the Wilcox family. Sincerely,

My prayers are with you and your family during this time of bereavement.
My Dad and I always admired your Dad. Now the two of them are together again. They referred to themselves as "The Spirit of 19".
God Bless.
