Ida Cerone Obituary
(Macano)
Greece: April 26, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Sam Cerone; son, Robert Cerone; parents, Samuel and Lena Macano; brothers, Frank and Samuel Macano. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Ben) Gioseffi; daughter-in-law, Linda Cerone; grandchildren, Lynn (Al) Linder, Karen (Marcus) Anten, Robert (Laurel) Cerone, Laura (John) Frazier, David (Colleen) Gioseffi, Elizabeth (John) Cipolla; great grandchildren, Jordan Frazier, Craig Linder, Jack Anten, Lauren Anten, Eric Linder, Max Cerone, Olivia Cerone, Kevin Linder, Nina Frazier, Julia Cipolla, Braden Gioseffi; many Cerone and Macano family in-laws; nieces and nephews. Ida was a Plymouth Ave. resident until 1956. She was employed and retired from Rochester Envelope/Boise Cascade Company. She was a winter resident of Isle of the Palms - St. Petersburg, Florida. For more information about Ida, please visit: BARTOLOMEO & PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd.) where Ida's Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Family and friends are all invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church (5000 Mt. Read Blvd.) Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623.

I knew Ida from Dr. Sansone's office, as I was usually her hygienist. I was so sad to hear of her passing.Mrs Cerone was a lovely women who lived for her family and was so proud of them. Eileen Beard R.D.H.

We only had a short time with Ida, but we loved her as if she were our own family. She spent her days with us visiting in the living room and we've missed her so much since she went out to the hospital. She made a big impact at Crimson Ridge Meadows on the staff and residents alike. We understand in a truly personal way what a loss this is, and our thoughts and prayers are with Elaine, Ben and family.
