Webster: October 24, 2013. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN SERVICE TIMES: Friends may call Monday, Nov. 11th, 4-7 PM at Anthony Funeral Chapel (1031 Ridge Rd.). A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12th, 11 AM at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1355 Hatch Road, Penfield. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr C, Donna, and Family:
My sincere condolences for your loss. Mrs. C was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and always had a kind word for me, and was always sincerely interested in how me and our family was doing. Be relieved that she is now up in heaven looking down glowingly at all of us.
Although it is sad and hard to accept the loss, let's celebrate her life and think of all the good things that happened while we had her. Here are some of my favorites that still bring a smile to my face as I remember all those good times:
- Church service, the big luncheon after, and overeating
- Beautiful penmanship - the best I ever saw
- Shoes off at the door
- The sweater on the dog (and don't forget clearing a path in the snow in the winter )
- Those great all-you-eat buffet dinners lasting for 2 hrs +
- Save the Kodak boxes for the manuscripts
- Take another picture
- Wait, wait, wait - take another picture

When I had my son, 38 years ago, I just had to have Mrs. Calendo write his decorative certificate. I knew she was THE best calligrapher there ever was in this area. God Bless you all at this time.

Dear Donna and Mr. Calendo,
I am a parishioner of Holy Spirit and go to MCC with Donna. We met accidentally and by chatting I came to know Donna was Irene's daughter. Although I never really spoke with Irene, I can tell you this, her presence in church and her smiling face made me know she was a lady with Jesus in her heart and she made me feel welcome. Not many people there do that. I did introduce myself to you,Mr. Calendo, a few weeks ago at coffee hour, I am deeply sorry for your loss and I know how much faith and love you have in your heart so God is with you and Irene always. Donna and family: I remember when I first met your mother when we were students at MCC. She was the person that definitely told it like it was and I enjoyed talking to her. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and she and your dad were two of the nicest caring people. God Bless - My prayers are with you and your family.
