Can’t believe it’s three years already that Jim has left us. I think of him often as I drive by his Pinecrest house and Lakeshore golf course. We had good times and a lot of fun at Xerox and on the golf courses. That “positive Jim attitude” is what I often think about. Jim was a good guy and good friend. Jerry Leonardo

Dear Gagnier family,
I always looked forward to seeing Jim (AKA 'The Mayor) at the ballpark. He really liked when I was a little too vocal in razzing our Red Wings, especially when the team was awful for most of the 2000's, NOT! We had opportunities to chat through games fairly often, and in the last few years was excited when he'd be able to make it to games. I will always have fond memories of him. Condolences to all of you, and especially to Maggie, Gloria and Frank.

To the Gagnier Family, So very sorry for your loss of Jim. I knew him for a long time at Xerox and we were golf partners over the years. It was always fun being with him and sharing many laughs. Jim was the most positive person to be with. Even with his physical challenges he always looked at the bright side of things and made others, me included, always feel good with his positive vibes.
Sorry to miss his funeral as we are in Florida, but our prayers and thoughts are with you and God bless Jim, a great guy! Jerry Leonardo

Char, Joe, Gloria, Julie and families:
I am so sorry for your loss. Our faith in being reunited in our heavenly home in eternity, and your own personal and special memories of your time together while here on earth, should ease this time of bereavement. You are all in my prayers, Aunt Mary.

I am going to miss my baseball buddy, Jim. He always kept me straight about minding my baseball manners in the front row at Frontier Field! This was always a challenging task, being the baseball reprobate that I am.

To Gloria, April, and the other members of the Gagnier family,
We want to express our deepest sympathy over the passing of your father, grandfather, and beloved family member.
We knew Jim mostly through stories that April would relay to us of their times together. He was a friendly, outgoing man with a very big heart whose family was very important to him.
He is now free of pain and in a much better place , but he will be sorely missed. May the wonderful memories you have of him sustain you and bring a feeling of warmth in your heart and a smile on your face.
