James Sheldon Obituary
Rochester: October 24, 2012, age 51. Survived by his grandmother, Lucy Basch; mother, Maxine Kosbab; children, James Edward Sheldon, Jr.; step-children, Hollie Newcombe and Heather LaRuez; sisters, Susan Sheldon (Al), Mary Geiger (Simon), Sherri Gaglianese (Todd); and grandchildren, Naaliyah, Sarina, Sammy, Andrew, and Logan; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday, 5-7 at the Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English and Latta). In lieu of flowers, send donations to James Edward Sheldon, Jr., 2685 Buffalo Rd., Rochester, NY 14624.

Jim was my half brother. He was many years older than me, and had moved out of the house when I was very young. I only saw him a few times into my teens, talked to him when his Father died in 1993. Jim also had a younger sister, Lisa. And a younger sister Kathy Jo, who passed away when she was 8 years old. Jim came to be with the family at that time as well. Jim also has two step siblings, Rick and Gayle. They all grew up together.....Rick, Jim, Sue, Beth, Gayle, Lisa, Mindi, Kathy Jo.
Since those days, our sister Kathy Jo died in a car accident that my sister Lisa and I were also involved in. Our sister Gayle passed away about a year ago. My Mom passed away in 2015 from pancreatic cancer. Father died of a heart attack. The only siblings, half or step, left are Mindi (56), Lisa (59), Beth (I assume, although have not spoken with her because her daughter Mindy doesn't want me to), Sue (I also assume but haven't seen since I was 6 and she moved out), and Rick, (66).
